'I'll be doing an important part in Ulaga Nayakan (Universal Hero) Kamal Haasan's 'Uttama Villain',' posted Jayaram on his Twitter page.
Jayaram and Haasan played best friends in 'Panchathantiram' and scenes between them were very well received by audiences.
'Uttama Villain' is the story of an ageing superstar being played by Haasan, who has also penned the story of the film. Kannada actor Ramesh Arvind is directing it.
Currently on floors in Bangalore, the film also features Haasan's mentor K. Balachander in an important role.
